About Me

Writing about oneself is never easy

I have two poles within me - creative and analytical - and for years I've been learning how to combine them into a harmonious whole. I'm lucky to merge what drives me: technology and creativity. On a daily basis, I design and implement IT solutions - from digital services and collaboration platforms to open-source projects, automation, and security. I work with people, systems, and complexity. I like order, but even more - meaning.

Alexander Kowal

After hours - camera, light, form. I like to look closely and capture the world in images or words. Sometimes for myself, sometimes for others. Photography is not just a passion for me, but also a way of thinking. I stop moments, light, and emotions - slowly, sometimes intuitively. Image and word have the same weight for me - they are two languages of storytelling.

I also create things - sometimes they're small web tools, other times workshop ideas, concept sketches, prototypes or DIY experiments. I like testing, documenting, organising. Sometimes something works out, sometimes something gets put on hold - and that's okay too.

This site is not a portfolio, nor a guide or a product. It's a meeting place - for ideas, images and reflections. Something at the intersection of work and passion. If something here captures your attention - feel free to stay.

Not everything has to be perfect. What matters is that it's genuine.
