Data controller

The controller of data processed in connection with this website is Aleksander Kowal, contact:aleksander.kowal@gmail.com. I am both the author of this website and the administrator of the server it physically runs on. The hardware is at my place, I do not use external hosting.

What data I process

This website has no forms that collect data. If you write to aleksander.kowal@gmail.com, I process your e-mail address and the content of your message only in order to reply. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

My server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, browser type) needed for security and troubleshooting. I keep the logs only on my own hardware, for a short time, and nobody else has access to them.

The website loads fonts from Google servers (Google Fonts), which means your IP address is passed to Google when you open the site. You will find more information in Google's privacy policy.

I also collect anonymous visit statistics with Matomo, which runs on my own server, not at any external company. Matomo is configured not to store any cookies in your browser. I only record the pages visited, the traffic source (where you came from) and basic information about the browser and device, so that I know what is worth developing on the site. The legal basis is my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not link the statistics to your identity and nobody else has access to them.

Who I share data with

Nobody. The website runs on my own server, I do not use external hosting or providers processing data on my behalf, and visit statistics are counted by my own Matomo. The only exception is Google, which receives your IP address when the fonts are loaded (Google Fonts). I do not sell data or share it for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object and to data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), the Polish supervisory authority. For anything concerning your data, write to aleksander.kowal@gmail.com.
