Winter in Stary Sącz
Although summer is still in full swing outside, let's take a moment to revisit the winter scenery of Stary Sącz. Snow, quiet streets, snow-covered roofs, and mountains shrouded in white silence create an entirely different face of our town. Summer will pass faster than we expect. Days will grow shorter, the first chilly mornings will arrive, and somewhere on the horizon, winter will begin to make its presence felt once again. Before it does, though, let's pause for a moment with these frames and recall how beautiful Stary Sącz can be under a blanket of snow.
Remembering the June evening that still echoes - Symphony of the Spirit and or_chestra
It was the feast of Corpus Christi, and the market square in Stary Sącz became the stage for the second edition of 'Symphony of the Spirit' - a musical worship event that had drawn nearly three thousand listeners to the town just a year before. That evening, over a hundred musicians - or_kiestra, choir and soloists - came together under the baton of Justyna Zawiślan, filling the air with their own arrangements of praise songs, ranging from poetic singing to classical music and American gospel. Some time has passed, but certain evenings linger in your memory. This one did - the music became a shared prayer, and the market square in Stary Sącz at dusk had something truly special about it. Looking back at those photos, I wanted to share them with you - as a small trace of what happened during that June evening.
Kino SOKÓŁ in Stary Sącz transformed into a stage filled with warmth and emotion.
The Family Festival is an event that has been built for years by the „Gniazdo” Association - an organization for which integrating the local community through art and shared cultural experiences is everyday work, not just a special occasion. On this day, the cinema hall was filled with residents who came to celebrate together what is most important - closeness, community, and mutual kindness. The star of the afternoon was the „Cinderella” play, in which we saw young actors giving their all on stage. For me, this event had a special dimension - my daughter played Cinderella, and the emotions that accompanied her seemed to touch the entire hall. The program was complemented by a performance by students from the Primary School of Music in Stary Sącz, adding a musical charm to the whole event. I invite you to view the photo report from this beautiful, family afternoon.
For a Moment, Stary Sącz Reversed Time.
On August 16th, as every year at this time of the summer, the Park&Ride square on Jana Pawła II Street transformed into a place where the power of an engine was less important than its history. Shining chrome, the smell of petrol and the characteristic roar of machines from decades gone by attracted hundreds of residents and automotive enthusiasts from across the region to the city. This was the fourth edition of the Stary Sącz Classic Vehicle Rally - an event that has grown from a small local initiative into one of the most important automotive meetings in the area. Each of the vehicles that arrived had its own story - some remembered the streets of the Polish People's Republic, while others came straight from family garages, painstakingly restored over years. Join us for a photographic walk through this year's edition - a piece of history on wheels, captured in Stary Sącz.

Our Son, Our Pride! - The Rifleman's Oath 2025

Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow
Among the massive wings, the smell of steel and history etched in aluminium, I felt that this place breathes with memory. Each plane is not just a machine - it's a witness to time, an echo of battle, a symbol of courage. Looking at the silhouettes of fighter planes, I remembered the heroes who soared above their own fear to defend our freedom. It's incredible how close you can feel the spirit of those days - as if the hum of their engines still lingers in the background.

Budapest by Night
As dusk falls, Budapest reveals its second face - more intimate, sensual, almost cinematic. Historic bridges shimmer with reflections of lights in the Danube, and monumental buildings are enveloped in the soft glow of street lamps. The city breathes slower, but deeper.
Traces of the Past
Time doesn't spare places, but some endure - even in fragments. This old house, now just a ruin, was once full of life. It was here that my ancestors lived their daily lives: conversations around the table, work, prayer, silence. Today, only the walls remain, overgrown with grass, and the echoes of memories.
